On one Christmas eve, Billy and Suzie hung their stockings by the fireplace before going to bed. All through the year they had been waiting for this day to come in their lives. At light , the place was visited by none other than Santa Claus who with his bright red toy bag came down the chimney. This was his last stop after which he was supposed to go back home. He placed a new bike for Suzie and a train set for Billy. By the time he was preparing to go back, Santa Claus felt quite hungry. He spotted a glass of milk and a plate of goodies, kept on the kitchen table. He reached for a piece of chocolate cake and wondered that if he ate some more he might get stuck in the chimney. However the chocolate cakes were so very delicious that he could not resist its temptation. He finished the whole plate. He felt quite heavy and broke the chair that was kept nearby.
Santa gathered up his bag and went over to the chimney. With his magic he tried to get through the chimney but got stuck halfway. The more he went up the more he got stuck.. Little did Suzie and Billy know that Santa Got Stuck in the Chimney. There were sleeping peacefully through the night and in the morning went upstairs to receive their gifts. They noticed the empty plate, the broken chair and assumed it was done by none other than Santa himself. What they did not know was that it was their chimney that didn't let Santa out as Santa Got Stuck in the Chimney. Their father noticed the boots of Santa and helped him to get out of the chimney. Finally Santa got his freedom back and laughed his way back home with his signature laughter ! "Ho! Ho! Ho!" he rang. "Merry Christmas!"
