Strange and Different is the true saga of Bob May. Bob had been a skinny lad since his childhood. Life never gave him much. From an ordinary school he moved ion to grab the job of an ordinary copywriter while most of his friends managed plum job with a good salary. Things have always been strange and different with Bob. First it was his job then it was his wife Evelyn. Although she loved her a lot the lady was stuck with Cancer at a terribly young age. One day Bob's daughter asked him a strange and different question. She inquired with all her childlike innocence “ Daddy, why is my mommy not like other mommies?” Bob did not know what to say. But to strengthen the heart of his young daughter bob told her the magical story of Rudolf the Rein deer.

Of all Santa's rein deers Rudolf leads his carriage. Nobody knows the reason for sure. But Bob knew for sure. When Santa was looking for some sturdy rein deers to carry his sleigh amidst forests and inhospitable conditions, all the rein deers thought of giving it a try. Many wanted to join Santa But only five rein deers were selected. Rudolf , however was hiding in one corner of the forest for he was highly ashamed of his red nose. As Santa was about to leave all the rein deer of the world gathered up to cheer the gang. Suddenly their was a strong engulfing mist which canopied the area within moments. Santa realized he needs a special deer with unique abilities to lead the group amidst such a condition. Soon Santa spotted Rudolf the red nosed deer. His red nose alone could lead the gang safely amidst storm and blizzards, Santa knew for sure. Since then Rudolf has been leading the Santa's gang. As bob told the story he was hoping to make only one point to his daughter. If some people are born different then God reserves a special purpose behind it. Bob's daughter loved the strange and different story so much that he decided to write a book on it. As Bob made efforts to pen down the book, he lost his wife Evelyn in the meantime. Although a dejected soul Bob did not stop. After the book was published it won many a hearts. The strange and different sold millions of copies and today Bob is a happy man.
