The story starts with Bobby who was catching cold by sitting out in his backyard in the snow. He is a poor boy who doesn’t have the money to buy boots and his sneakers have many holes in it from which cold is penetrating. But he is not bothered of all these, as he is thinking about buying a gift for his mother on Christmas. But he does not have enough money to buy whatever he thinks of. His father had passed away three years ago and since then the family of five members have been struggling a lot to survive. He went from shop to shop but could not buy anything as had a single dime only. At last, he reached to a flower shop where amazingly the kind florist gave him twelve long stemmed red roses coupled with green leaves and small white flowers, all tied together with a huge silver bow. Thus, the florist gave Bobby the best Christmas gift for her mother in just a dime! Such is the magic of Christmas that kindness reigns everywhere!
