Mary, Servant of the Lord is another inspirational Christmas story written by Dr. Ralph F. Wilson. The style of this story contains the autobiographical elements. The writer depicted the holy incident, the prophecy of the God's angel that drew Mary, a humble peasant's daughter to become the holy mother of Jesus Christ. The writer expressed the mental constraint and the psychological state of Mary in the speeches of Mary herself. She was only 14 years old then, and was just betrothed with a carpenter namely Joseph, who also lived in her neighborhood.

In that very day, when Mary first met the angel an got the order to give birth of the God's son, she was in her own work in her house. The other members of her family were at home then. She was drowned in the thoughts of her would be husband, Joseph and their marriage. Suddenly, she heard a step on the threshold and looked up. She found a tall, bright heavenly person with a gold sash girding his shining robe standing in her doorway. He was staring at her. Mary could not recognize him. She got scared.
Mary, Servant of the Lord, depicts that, then, that bright person started talking and convincing Mary to give birth of a child, who is basically the holy son of God, in spite of the fact that, she was chaste and unmarried.
"You will be with child and give birth to a son, and are to give him the name Jesus." he said to Mary. She got total confused. While this conversation between Mary and that angel was going on, Mary continuously thinking of Joseph and their future, if she gets pregnant.
"The Holy Spirit will come upon you," he said again, "and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God." He assured her that, through this process, she would be considered as Mary, Servant of the Lord.
Mary, Servant of the Lord, presents that, after a long conversation, Mary decided to bear the God's child in her womb.
